The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
