This incident caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
