Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): West Ham could have been six behind at Bournemouth but for him. Massive moment, delivered and demonstrated real class. Superb shot-stopping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. Losing could have dismantled their entire term.

Backline

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's a contender for top performer. People will talk about Arsenal players. He is the top performer without doubt.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a mad supporter to say 'Murillo will score and we defeat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. The odds were huge prices on that. He was excellent. He's becoming a dominant figure. He can really be a handful. Delighted to see him playing like last season.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he had difficulties from his faults. However with the Magpies he's impressed greatly. He has shown immense power and powerful and appears graceful. It looks like he has discovered a spiritual home.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a defender, rather a contemporary style going forward. He has proven to be a wonderful signing for Brighton. Few are astonished at them discovering another star from obscurity? I thought releasing Pervis Estupinan that was strange but Brighton know what they're doing.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Alike in style and they're in for the identical cause. Their teams won, everyone will talk about the goalscorers, but absent these individuals the sides struggle. They are so good. They disrupt opposition, they join the offense.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Numerous supporters, like my child, had doubts if he could be the man to get them over the top. Three goals in the north London derby and now they want to honor him permanently of him. Goals, composure, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Perhaps this represents thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it will prove extremely tough to bench him. I felt he had a great start the term, I believe he seemed somewhat presumptuous and believed he could join to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he has settled down. Two great goals clearly versus Leeds pulled his side when trailing. He proved decisive.

Strikers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I mentioned he doesn't look his typical form. He appeared as if he'd lost a yard. But wow. Words fail me. He shone. Phenomenal in his approach and with his two finishes.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He performs strongly, usually better as a substitute, but Anthony Gordon has an injury so he has to play. He missed a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his most straightforward effort. Yet possessing the psychological strength to place himself into difficult situations and net two was remarkable.

Manager

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and beats Arne Slot. A wonderful gameplan. Possibly it was five or six for Forest and nobody could have argued.
